The Illinois Assistive Technology Program (IATP) was contracted to develop, implement, and support a program that would provide technology devices and internet access to older adults and persons with disabilities who are socially isolated as a result of the pandemic.

Therapeutic Trikes Developed, Shared with the Public

Mike Stokes, who volunteers with the Utah Assistive Technology Program, partnered with us and Shaun Dahle, a physical therapist, to develop a therapeutic trike that can be built from furniture-grade PVC.

COVID-19 Information Campaign

Utah

Marilyn Hammond of UATP received a state grant to disseminate information on COVID-19. As part of that campaign, UATP developed radio messaging regarding communication platforms that were accessible to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and shared those messages statewide.
