INDATA Collaborates with 25 Public Libraries

INDATA collaborated with the Indianapolis Public Library to improve access to services and materials for persons of all abilities by implementing assistive technology workstations in each branch (25 total).

Easterseals Iowa Partners to Create Accessible Outdoor Opportunities

Iowa

Easterseals Iowa team members were selected to serve on the advisory committees for three major outdoor and recreational projects. These projects include coordination with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, Polk County Conservation, and Des Moines Public Parks. 

ATRC & University of Hawaii Create AT Libraries

Hawaii

ATRC in 2023 developed a plan to install an assistive technology lending library on all major Hawaiian Islands. The most impactful location to have these libraries are with the state educational institutions, since each location has a student service for disabilities.

GSAT Partners with EHDI to Promote Awareness

On August 19, 2023, and September 16, 2023, the Guam System for Assistive Technology (GSAT) partnered with Guam Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) Project for a mini-conference and various outreach activities.

FAAST Public Awareness Collaboration
